Staying in Adobe

Over the past two months of summer, I focused on a few different projects to keep myself in tune with our Adobe softwares. I took some still & motion shots at one of my brother’s baseball games, and had to edit them in Bridge and Camera Raw for the best results. Unfortunately this was before I received a new lens with a longer length for my birthday, so many of the pictures are grainy or not quite sharp enough.

Another instance in which I used my camera was on vacation in Minnesota. I had just received my new lens, so I experimented with subjects further away, as well as reflections and light on the lake and tree silhouettes against the blue sky. The sun and water sometimes threw off the exposure and other settings, which caused me to edit them in Camera Raw and Photoshop as well.

The last project I’ll talk about is re-designing the logo for my step-father’s company, Peterson Racing. I started by sketching my ideas on paper, as well as look through examples online to help, then I moved to Adobe Illustrator and begin designing!
