Yesterday, lots of SD received a lot of snow and stormy weather. I was supposed to go to Portfolio Design Class and Layout lll, but since many of my peers live outside of Sioux Falls, our instructor was nice enough to let us do class remotely from home. This might seem great, but in reality it is very difficult for me to stay on task at home in my bedroom. Fortunetly, my instructor had us check-in through email at the start, middle, and end of each class in order to see our progress and make sure we’re staying on task. This helped me greatly in staying focused throughout the day, but days like these show me why I would probably not thrive in a work-from-home job position.
