Last week in Portfolio Production Lab, we finally reached the moment where we could hang the final version of our winning window cling design. A peer of mine and I both volunteered to tear down the old graphic and put up the new one. In my personal experience, I have only wrapped a mini fridge at my internship with Beal Distributing, which was a vertical cling. The window we were sticking is a horizontal rectangle, so our squeegee technique was supposed to be a little different. Since things were a little hectic and many people kept surrounding us in the hallway commenting on things, the instructions came across as slightly unclear. So we squeegeed the vinyl up and down, rather than side to side, which would properly push the air out from under on a landscape-oriented sticker. So unfortunately, we had a few ripples and bubbles near the bottom of the window, but most we were able to flatten and it looks great overall!
